The Market Seen from Street: Q2 – Growth and Discomfort

July 29, 2025

After a tough first quarter in terms of financial results, I can now say that in the second quarter we clearly exceeded the goals we had set — and more than that, we’ve laid the groundwork for a truly promising third and fourth quarter.

Of course, we’re still dependent on many factors. And we know that, with so many variables, it's almost impossible for everything to go smoothly. Still, I believe we have what it takes to keep growing.

I was supposed to feel really happy. But honestly, I just feel tired. Maybe even burnt out.

I gave it my all to grow the business. I focused on execution, on opening new opportunities, on delivering. And in the process, I realized I lacked the time — and the energy — for the most important part: leading with presence.

The team has grown. But it grew without me creating the conditions to fail actively, to experiment, and to learn freely.

This reflection is not a complaint — it’s an important wake-up call.

Even when everything seems to be going well, we may not feel well. Not for lack of recognition or results — but for lack of alignment with what truly drives us.

About two years ago, I realized that in moments of tension and discouragement, my longtime companion — Resilience — never lets me down.

And so today, with her by my side, I ask myself again:

– Do I need new challenges?

– Should I accelerate growth and return to real estate development with more intensity?

– Is it time to have fewer clients and more of my own investments?

– Or maybe… I just need to pause, breathe, and rest?

I believe discomfort is a good sign. It’s what forces me to stop, think, rethink the path, and reconnect with purpose.

Because growing a business and achieving results is not enough. What matters is to keep growing as a person — and, above all, to create growth opportunities for everyone who believed in my promise.

One thing is certain: once again, I’m ready to take risks and to fail. No matter how many attempts it takes.

This will always be my promise: Even when everything is going well, there’s always room to grow, improve, and go further.

This is the promise of Laplace Real Estate Intelligence.

See you soon,
André Casaca
